The Computer Science and Information Technology Students of Batangas State University joined the 2009 Y4IT Convention held at Universtiy of the Philippines Diliman Quezon City.

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology is now offered at College of Engineering and Computing Sciences.

The Association of Computer Science Students (ACSS) had changed the name of the Organization, and now it become Association of Information Technology and Computer Science Students (AITeCSS).
